Season
Where Every Month Brings a Different Patagonia
November through the end of April is our season for fly fishing and adventure across Northern Patagonia.
November, early December, and April are considered our low season—often offering more flexibility and, at times, preferred rates for clients.
The most common question: “When is the best time to come?”
The honest answer—it depends.
November through early December brings some of the best dry fly fishing of the season, with active fish and ideal conditions across many of our rivers.
January and February are the heart of summer—long, warm days (similar to July and August in the U.S.), opening up a wide range of water and consistent fishing opportunities.
Mid-March through April ushers in fall, with cooler temps, fewer crowds, and Patagonia’s landscapes turning vibrant with autumn color. This is also when migratory fish—especially large brown trout—begin to move, creating opportunities at some of the biggest fish of the season.
No matter when you come, there’s always something happening on the water. There’s no bad time—just different experiences.
