Tipiliuke
Paisa Luxury Lodging
Fly Fishing. Culture. Patagonia.
16 miles of private water, wild trout, and classic Patagonia fly fishing.
Nestled at the base of the Andes near Junín de los Andes, Tipiliuke sits on a 50,000-acre working ranch in the lower Chimehuín river valley, just 10 minutes from Chapelco airport.
The lodge holds exclusive access to more than 9 miles of the legendary Chimehuín and 7 miles of its top tributary, the Quilquihué — over 16 miles of private water in total.
Fishing is both wet and dry fly for wild rainbow and brown trout, mostly by wading and within easy reach of the lodge. December through April brings consistent hatches and prime dry fly sight-fishing, with fish typically running 14 to 18 inches.
Nine bedrooms with private bathrooms, a big lounge, and a well-stocked bar round out the stay, with horseback riding, hiking, birdwatching, and massage available for days off the water.
