Just outside Trevelin, in the heart of Chubut province, Arroyo Pescado sits on over 30,000 private acres — complete seclusion and an authentic connection to the Patagonian wilderness. The estancia is home to 8.7 miles of the Tecka River and 5 miles of Arroyo Pescado itself, both entirely within the property, offering crystal-clear water, wild trout, and total solitude for anglers who want dry fly and sight fishing away from the crowds.

Beyond fishing, guests can explore the land on horseback, trek through the valley and mountains, or mountain bike across the estancia’s varied terrain — all with panoramic views of the surrounding valleys and peaks.

The land carries real history: in the early 1900s it was home to Welsh-Argentine settler Llwyd ap Iwan, said to have been killed by members of Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid’s Wild Bunch, who hid out in these remote valleys after their run of robberies. Guests walk the same paths today.
