Le Fario
Paisa Luxury Lodging
Fly Fishing. Culture. Patagonia.
Wild Patagonia. Legendary waters. Unforgettable fishing.
Set inside the UNESCO World Heritage site of Los Alerces National Park, Le Fario Lodge sits on the banks of Laguna Larga, an hour outside Esquel in Chubut Province. Five spacious bedrooms make for an intimate, all-inclusive stay in one of Patagonia’s most protected wild spaces.
The lodge is owned and operated by Laura and Gonzalo Martínez — Gonzalo is a passionate angler, chef, and experienced guide who knows the area by heart.
Anglers here reach a genuinely diverse fishery: spring creeks, emerald lakes, and legendary rivers including the Futaleufú, Rivadavia, and Arrayanes, plus Lago Verde, Lago Krugger, and Laguna Larga itself. Expect brown trout, rainbow trout, brook trout, and landlocked Atlantic salmon.
For those chasing something bigger, the Brookiland program lets guests split their stay between the main lodge and a more rustic lodge in Río Pico, targeting trophy brook trout and rainbow trout.
